We began by choosing a color palette rich in symbolism. Red was our foundation—a color representing joy, luck, and celebration. But we softened the tone with hints of gold embroidery, symbolizing wealth and elegance, and added subtle blush tones for a modern romantic touch.

The silhouette we chose was inspired by the traditional qipao, but reimagined with contemporary tailoring. A high Mandarin collar paid homage to classic Chinese design, while the form-fitting structure celebrated her figure with modern sophistication. We incorporated delicate phoenix motifs—a symbol of the bride in Chinese culture—and paired them with peony blossoms, denoting beauty and feminine honor.
